More than 200 parents and children packed the St Christopher-s Soccer Club in Bankstown to catch a glimpse of their Sydney FC heroes, including former junior Terry Antonis who was going back to the club he played for as a boy.
“It was great to come back and see a few familiar faces,” said Antonis. “I have some fantastic memories of playing for this club and in the Bankstown area as a child, so it really feels special to come back and visit again.
“I love to see all of the kids enjoying their football here and it-s great to help bring smiles to their faces.”
Terry was joined by first teamers Nick Carle, Fabio Alves, Blake Powell, Hagi Gligor, Joel Chianese, Mitchell Mallia, Nathan Sherlock, Dimi Petratos and Vedran Janjetovic, taking part in team warm ups, posing for photos and signing autographs.
Bankstown District FA secretary Luke Cevolani said; “We really appreciate Sydney FC bringing so many players down and having a good time with the kids.
