A hard-working striker blessed with great pace and an eye for goal, Corey Gameiro progressed through the ranks of English Premier League team Fulham and fast became one of the stars of the London club’s youth academy. In June 2013 Gameiro made the move home by signing a 2 year contract with Sydney FC. Having been called up into the Young Socceroos 2011 U20 World Cup squad at the last minute he soon became one of the key members of the squad. Gameiro will be hoping to build on his first season at Sydney FC, with the youngster playing 15 games scoring two goals in the process.
