Sydney FC’s Sky Blue Holiday Clinics have wrapped up for the term with another bumper group of kids participating in the spring clinics.

Run over the course of a week the clinics took place at Macquarie University, the Hills Grammar School and Christison Park in Vaucluse with the three day sessions ensuring everyone left with an improved footballing ability.

Sydney FC Community Football Officer Paul Reid led the clinics with his esteemed group of coaches and was pleased with how the clinics panned out.

“Sydney FC’s clinics are always an enjoyable way to spend the school holidays and this was shown again by the number of kids who signed up,” he said.

“The kids were full of excitement over the three days and their skills improved considerably throughout the sessions.

“Hopefully these kids go away with added enthusiasm and I’m sure we will see some of them in Sydney FC’s youth academy in the years to come with Academy Director Kelly Cross in attendance at the Macquarie clinics.”

The participants were treated to plenty, as the Sydney FC stars spent the morning after their successful Westfield FFA Cup match signing autographs for the kids at the exclusive Macquarie University signing session.

Australian marquee Alex Brosque, Hagi Gligor and Socceroo Bernie Ibini then ventured to the Hills Clinic to help train the kids at a special one on one coaching session while there were also player appearances in Vaucluse.
