Sydney FC’s record-breaking Liberty A-League Head Coach Ante Juric will remain with the club for two more seasons after signing a new two-year contract.
Juric, who was already contracted until the end of the 2024-25 season, has signed a one-year extension which will keep him at the club into his ninth year.
The deal extends the former Socceroo’s record as the club’s longest serving Head Coach, having qualified for every Grand Final since being appointed in 2017.
Sydney FC Chairman Scott Barlow praised Juric’s outstanding record and ability.
“Ante has an exceptional talent for bringing the best out of the players he works with and he is undoubtedly one of the best coaches in our game,” he said.
“His achievement in guiding Sydney FC to seven consecutive Grand Finals is unprecedented and his six major trophy wins show he has what it takes to build title winning sides.
“His talent identification is second to none in the Women’s game and we are extremely pleased he will be staying with Sydney FC for two more years.”
The three-time Championship winner expressed his delighted at staying at the Sky Blues helm.
“I am humbled to be offered a contract extension taking me through to season 2025-26 as I have thoroughly enjoyed coaching and working for the club,” he said.
“This will take me to nine seasons with Sydney FC and I am extremely proud, as it reflects on the good work the coaching staff and I have done over the years.
“Our enthusiasm and passion has got stronger and I am excited at the thought of what we can continue to achieve and build on this dynasty of success we are enjoying.
“We have worked so hard to achieve it and we have the inner drive and self-belief to do well in the coming years.
“The memories have been special and I will cherish them forever.
“There are many more positive memories ahead and we will keep working hard to secure them.
“The stability in Sydney FC’s coaching staff will help our young and relatively new team continue doing well and keep our loyal Members and fans happy and excited to watch us play. I am excited for what the future holds.”
Juric has also won three consecutive Premierships with the Sky Blues and has been involved in seven consecutive Grand Finals.
