Sydney FC’s annual Kiama Football Festival returned to the South Coast last weekend, drawing over 800 young players involved in over 80 teams from across New South Wales.
The two-day tournament featured age groups ranging from under-8s to under-16s.
Matches were held across multiple fields in Kiama, giving players the chance to compete in a professionally organised setting while families and spectators enjoyed the Kiama region.

The festival is a key component of Sydney FC’s grassroots development program, aimed at fostering talent and encouraging participation in football.
The Kiama Football Festival not only showcases youth football but also generates a positive economic boost for the South Coast. Local businesses including cafés, accommodation providers, and retailers benefit from the influx of players, parents, and spectators.

Sydney FC Hosts First-Ever Event at Kiama Leagues Club
We continued to bring the Sky Blue spirit to Kiama for the first time, hosting a family-friendly event at Kiama Leagues Club. Fans had a great time meeting Caley Tallon-Henniker for photos and autographs, as well as enjoying EA FC free play, a silent disco, and a variety of other activities.
The evening also featured live music from 8:30pm, exclusive Sky Blue meal deals, and a Sydney FC Raffle, with five prizes including a signed jersey, a signed Xbox with custom controller, and 2025/26 season tickets.
Hosting our first event at Kiama Leagues Club allowed us to connect with regional supporters and celebrate the club with the local community.
The event highlights Sydney FC’s commitment to engaging fans across New South Wales and bringing the Sky Blue experience to communities outside Sydney.

Sydney FC plans to continue expanding its community engagement programs throughout regional New South Wales, using the Kiama Football Festival as a model for future events.
