Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and enjoying the beautiful weather that Sydney is experiencing at the moment.
A tough opponent last weekend I think invigorated the lads as we hit the training field with a new energy and composure this week, I think as games become more regular, we will continue with this momentum.

As for the game a disappointing result was a slightly tough pill to swallow, however I think we still displayed, especially in the first half, that we are a force to be reckoned with in this league as we kept the majority of possession and the more significant goal scoring opportunities.
The second half started off similar to the first half which led to us taking the lead from a textbook penalty by Kosta. The last 30 mins of the game humbled us and showed that there is still a lot of work to be done, but I am confident in the lads that we will hit our stride and gain more and more momentum as the calendar fills up with more and more fixtures.
Looking forward to this Friday, we come up against the Mariners who we know have had a great start to the season and can be a very physical opponent, a great test for the lads.
Also, it’s a pleasure playing against my former club. There’s still a lot of people I keep in contact with up there and I can’t wait to face them at home at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, a place where we have an outstanding record and one that will hopefully continue this Friday.
Hopefully I will see you all there in your Sky Blue gear, and if you can’t make it your support from home is always appreciated knowing we have you watching at home on your tv is always a big boost for the lads.
If you are coming to the game, I would just like to reiterate the importance of maintaining social distancing and wearing a mask in and out of the stadium as well as anywhere where social distancing is not possible.
That’s enough from me. I hope everyone has had a good start to the year as we look to continue our undefeated start to the campaign
