Striker Alex Brosque has capped off the perfect year after he was named Sydney FC-s Hyundai A-League Player of the Year at the club-s annual awards night.
Voted on by his teammates, it is now the third straight season Brosque has been named Sydney FC Player of the Year following another stunning year leading the Sky Blues front line.
Brosque explosive pace, vision and deft touch ripped many an opponent-s defensive structure to shreds in 2009/10 – a year he played 29 A-League games, netted seven goals and added 11 assists.
Brosque and fellow strikers Mark Bridge and John Aloisi teamed up to form a potent attacking combination in a side that scored 42 goals this season – the third highest in the A-League.
As well as being selected in the Qantas Socceroos squad this year, Brosque rounded out a magical season with the birth of his first child – daughter Christina.

In 110 A-League appearances, Brosque has scored 32 goals – 24 of which have been for Sydney FC.

Brosque was also awarded the 2009/10 Sydney FC Members Player of the Year.
Sydney FC member-s voted for who they believed was the clubs Player of the Year with votes tallied and the player with the most votes taking out the award.
