Sydney FC striker Mark Bridge will return home to Sydney on Saturday morning to seek treatment on a hip flexor injury he sustained in the Sky Blues 3-1 AFC Champions League loss to the Suwon Samsung Bluewings on Tuesday night.
Sydney FC striker Mark Bridge will return home to Sydney on Saturday morning to seek treatment on a hip flexor injury he sustained in the Sky Blues 3-1 AFC Champions League loss to the Suwon Samsung Bluewings on Tuesday night.
Bridge left the field in the 79th minute of the match after picking up the injury moments earlier.
Upon assessment, it was determined he needed to return to Sydney to see a specialist and commence treatment.
Sydney FC will travel to Tokyo on Sunday morning ahead of their final Group H match against Japan-s Kashima Antlers on Tuesday 10 May at the National Stadium (3pm kick-off local time).
