After beating Bayswater City SC 5-1 in the Round of 32, Sydney FC have now been drawn against Brisbane Roar in the Hahn Australia Cup Round of 16.
The draw was made following the conclusion of matches on the 30th July where Brisbane Roar beat NPL NSW side Sydney Olympic 3-0 at Belmore.
The bracket for the rest of the tournament was also created following the Round of 16 draw with the Sky Blues situated in the top left half.
Should they progress past Brisbane Roar, they will face the winner of SD Raiders & Macarthur FC (will travel to SD Raiders or will host Macarthur).
The Semi Final match up is even more tantalising should the Sky Blues make it that far, they will face either NPL NSW opposition APIA Leichhardt or Sydney United or else Isuzu UTE A-League sides Western Sydney or Melbourne Victory.
Matches are set to be played between Saturday 8th August – Wednesday 12th August with details to be confirmed shortly.
