Anthony Caceres has been named in the Socceroos squad for their massive matches during the June FIFA International Window.
The midfielder will take on Japan and Saudi Arabia with a place at the FIFA World Cup on the line with the top two sides from the group securing automatic qualification with 3rd and 4th going through to the next round of qualification.
The Socceroos currently sit in second place behind already qualified Japan who they will take on on Thursday night in Perth.
The Aussies will then travel to the Middle East for a do or die clash with Saudi Arabia which could seal their place in football’s showpiece event in 2026.
Best of luck to Anthony and the rest of the Socceroos.
