Four Sydney FC players and coaches have been recognised following their clinical and brilliant starts to the season.
Joe Lolley has been on form to begin the month and has been recognised by his peers by taking home the PFA (Professional Footballers Australia) Player of the Month for October/November. The Englishman recorded 4 goals and 2 assists in the opening five matches of the campaign and is highly deserving of the accolade.
Kirsty Fenton also takes home the Women’s PFA Player of the Month for November after she returned emphatically from the ACL injury that ruled her out for almost all of the 2024/25 campaign. She returned and has played left back and central defence and helped her side record three consecutive clean sheets against Adelaide, Perth & Central Coast.
Having led his side to the top of the table, Ufuk Talay has been honoured with the Isuzu UTE A-League Coach of the Month. The Sky Blues’ boss recorded four straight wins against Mariners, Jets, Macarthur & Melbourne Victory and seen them record the best goal difference in the competition.
Ante Juric completes the four-peat for Sydney FC as he was also awarded the Ninja A-League Women’s Coach of the Month for an unbeaten start to the season. The Sky Blues held reigning Premiers Melbourne City to a 2-2 draw and went onto keep a clean sheet in the remaining three matches that month. It saw the Sky Blues surge to the top of the table with that form.
