Helena has held roles across football, including with football’s governing body (Football Australia) as a member of their Women’s Football Council (2019-present), a 10 member advisory council with a charter to ensure equality in football for women and girls and with Sydney FC (A-Leagues’ most successful club) where she was General Manager, Commercial Strategy. Helena is a Director of Women Sport Australia, the peak independent body for women and girls in sport in Australia and her skills include strategy development, commercialisation/sponsorship, risk & compliance, and policy & grant writing,
Helena joined the Board in November 2022 to ensure equity and access to football and associated infrastructure including facilities and programs for youth and all in the community and be a role model for others in sport’s administration.
Her favourite Sydney FC player is Teresa Polias, former captain of the incredibly successful Sydney FC A-League Women’s squad.
