Ron Malek
Ron is an investment banker having advised local and international companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets strategy for over 30 years. This has included advising numerous major media organisations and sports organisations.
Ron is a Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Luminis Partners, a leading independent corporate advisory firm.
Ron was previously a co-founder of the firm Caliburn in 1999, which merged in 2010 with New York Stock Exchange listed Greenhill and was previously Co-Chief Executive of Caliburn and Greenhill Caliburn.
Prior to establishing Caliburn, Ron was Australasian Head of the Consumer Sector at BZW and ABN AMRO. Ron’s previous directorships include:
- Member & Chairman of the UNSW Council’s Investment Committee
- Member & Deputy President of the Australian Takeovers Panel
- Director of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA)
- Director of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation
