Sydney FC’s Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s home clash with league leaders Western United at Leichhardt Oval next month has been brought forward 24 hours and will now take place on Friday 11th March at 7.45pm at the same venue.
The match was originally due to be played on the Saturday night but will now take place a day earlier.
It means the Sky Blues will have an extra day to recover in the event of an overseas AFC Champions League play-off match which is currently due to take place the following week on March 15th.
Sydney FC face Philippines team Kaya–Iloilo FC in the preliminary round of the competition on Tuesday 8th March at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in a 7.30pm kick off.
All of Sydney FC’s other Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s fixtures in March remain unchanged.
Meanwhile a venue has been approved for Sydney FC’s final, and potential Premiers Plate winning, Liberty A-League Women’s match with Adelaide United on Sunday 6th March.
The game will be played at Coopers Stadium in Adelaide and kicks off at 4.05pm AEDT.
