Sydney FC captain Terry McFlynn says the Sky Blues are only concentrating on a win as they prepare to take on Brisbane Roar in their massive final encounter of the regular Hyundai A-League season.
Only three points would guarantee a place in the A-League Finals, while a draw of defeat could also see them qualify depending on the results of Perth Glory and the Newcastle Jets.
However McFlynn isn-t worrying about that.
“We-re not focusing on anything else other than a win,” he said. “A win secures Finals football for us and then we can sit back and watch how the rest of the weekend unfolds.
“Both clubs want to win and have to win to get finals football so I think it will be a great spectacle.”
The Sydney FC skipper is confident it will be the Sky Blues who go forward to the last six after an impressive unbeaten run against the league-s top teams recently.
“I think you-ve seen that since the boss came in that we-ve been finishing games really strong now.
“We-ve been running over the top of teams and there-s a real belief and assurance in what we-re doing will get the result we desire,” he concluded.
