Bojic made an impressive home debut for Sydney FC against the Newcastle Jets in October and went on to play a total of 12 matches, for 933 minutes, on the right side of defence with his attacking instinct clearly evident with each venture forward into the oppositions final third.
Displaying his attacking mindset, the 30 year old had eight shots on goal and chipped in with one assist as he played in Ranko Despotovic for Sydney FC-s second goal against the Melbourne Heart in round 10.
Covering every blade of grass up and down the touch line, Bojic had a total of 806 touches on the ball and recorded an impressive 80.1% passing accuracy from his attempted 497 passes.
Bojic-s defensive traits last season were just as laudable, as the Sydney born right back contested 125 duels (winning over 50% of them) and made 26 clearances as he protected the Sky Blues goal.
With an 81.3% tackle completion rate, one of the highlights of Bojic-s season was undoubtedly the sliding challenge he made on Melbourne Victory-s Andrew Nabbout to preserve the Sky Blues lead in the 94th minute in what proved to be the final play of the match.
Although his season was cut short by a back injury, Bojic has returned to pre-season training in full health and will be hopeful of earning his spot on the right side of Graham Arnold-s defence for Sydney FC-s first game of the 2014/15 season against Melbourne City.
