Daniel Petkovski is a tall, strong and athletic left-sided defender who has played for the Young Socceroos as an 18-year-old. He joined Sydney FC for the 2011/12 National Youth League season from Marconi Stallions and went on to earn a senior contract for the 2012/13 season after excelling in the NYL. Petkovski played a key role in the Sky Blues 2013/14 Championship winning Foxtel National Youth League squad and earned three senior appearances that he will hope to build on under new Head Coach Graham Arnold.
