Alesha Clifford is a young defender originally from Katoomba who mainly plays as an attacking left back. Clifford played for Sydney FC from the team’s inception in 2008 until 2012 before moving to the Western Sydney Wanderers for Westfield W-League season 2012/13. Clifford is now back at the Sky Blues and was an influential member of the Sky Blues squad that finished third in the world at the mobcast International Women’s Club Championship in 2013 and will be looking to build on her one Championship and Premiership claimed with Sydney FC in 2009. Clifford has made a total of 35 appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring one goal.
