Sydney FC has completed the signing of defender Liam McGing on a short-term contract.
McGing was an inaugural member of the Sydney FC Academy in 2015 and spent four years progressing through the Sky Blues ranks before joining Wellington Phoenix for two seasons.
The 22-year old left the Kiwi club at the end of last season and has spent the past two weeks on trial with Steve Corica’s squad.
The centre half signs immediately and goes straight into the Sky Blues squad for this evening’s Sydney Derby.
