A Tiago Quintal hat-trick has helped Sydney FC defeat Bayswater City SC 5-1 in Perth to move into the last 16 of the Australia Cup.
Goals from Mathias Macallister and a first Sydney FC goal for Zac De Jesus completed the rout which included a hat-trick of assists from Akol Akon.

62’ | DE JESUS GOAL – Great footwork from Akon saw him break clear of the Bayswater press, and deliver the ball to Quintal who nudged it past the on-rushing keeper to De Jesus to slot into the empty net for his first goal for the club.

Match Report: Sydney FC has eased into the Australia Cup Round of 16 with a comfortable 5-1 win over Bayswater City SC in Perth tonight.
In a tight first-half, the Sky Blues were the first to strike after a strong and energetic start.
Quintal received the ball from Akon just inside the box, he took a touch and drilled a left foot shot beyond keeper Italiano in the 20th minute.
The goal was the kick-start Bayswater City needed and they forced Hoefsloot into a good save from a Lowry free-kick in the 25th before Teese headed home from a left wing corner in the 36th minute to level.
Sydney FC upped the gears straight away and two minutes later Akon got his second assist of the night. He squared the ball to Macallister inside the six yard box who slid it home for Sydney FC to regain the lead at 2-1.
Quintal secured his second of the night just after the break when Akon fed him with a third assist of the night before the youngster smashed a shot home from the edge of the box.
The Sky Blues began to run riot with Macallister having a very good chance on the hour when one on one with the keeper, before De Jesus slotted into an empty net when Italiano came way out of his goal to make it 4-1, two minutes later.
Quintal completed his hat-trick on the 64th minute with a fine goal, cutting inside the box from the left and smashing the ball across the goal into the far corner.
Sydney FC could have made it a few more while they also gave full debuts to Gabby Popovic, Takahiro Sekine, Ethan Dyer and Sam Lancaster.
