Multiple Sky Blues will pull on the green and gold next month as they head to China for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup.
From the senior Women’s side, Claire Corbett, Willa Pearson & Alyse Oppedisano have been included in the 23 player group heading to China and are joined by train on, Abbie Puckett along with three girls from the Female Development Squad, Liana Luong, Harper Pell & Jada Taylor.

The Junior Matildas will kick off their campaign against India and then taking on Lebanon on Tuesday 5th May. They will close out the group with the Pot 1 side Japan on Friday 8th May at the Suzhou Taihu Football Sports Centre where they will play all their matches.
The AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup China 2026 also serves as the qualification pathway for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026, with the top four teams earning a place at the global event. Australia will be pushing to claim one of those coveted qualification spots and, in doing so, secure the Junior Matildas’ first-ever appearance.
