Sydney FC Women Head Coach James Slaveski has named a squad for this weekend’s penultimate Ninja A-League clash with Melbourne Victory at Leichhardt Oval (5pm kick-off), with several key inclusions strengthening the Sky Blues.
The headline news is the return of five-time Championship winner Charlotte McLean, who re-joins the squad and is in line for an immediate impact in Sky Blue.
Her experience and winning pedigree provide a significant boost as Sydney FC look to bounce back from last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Wellington Phoenix.
Also returning are attacking threat Riley Tanner and defensive star Willa Pearson, both available again after serving suspensions.

Unavailable for selection are Young Matildas trio Amelia Cassar, Skye Halmarick, and Rubi Sullivan, who are away on AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup international duty. Meanwhile, newly married midfielder Bianca Gittany (née Galic) is unavailable for personal reasons.
Sydney FC are also continuing to manage a number of injury absences, with Hana Lowry, Indiana Dos Santos, Sarah Hunter, and Madeleine Caspers all sidelined, while Natalie Tobin remains unavailable.
