Sydney FC have today announced the launch of their brand-new official club podcast, We Are Sydney, presented by San Miguel.
The fortnightly series will delve deep into the stories of the people who make Sydney FC what it is – past, present and emerging – while tackling the key football and Sky Blue topics of the day.

Hosted by Adamo De Nigris and Sam Jurman, two of Australia’s most passionate football broadcasters, We Are Sydney will bring supporters closer than ever to the club’s personalities in a relaxed and engaging setting, filmed at the Sydney FC Centre of Excellence – Sky Park.
Adamo, a presenter currently working with SBS & beIN SPORTS and a commentator for the NSW NPL, brings a wealth of football insight having previously worked at Optus Sport. Sam, a sports presenter for ABC and Channel 10, is equally immersed in the game through her roles with SBS for the Australian Championship, A-Leagues and Football NSW.
Each episode will feature key Sydney FC figures – from players and coaches to officials and fans – offering unique perspectives on life inside the Sky Blue family.
The first episode, airing tonight, features Head Coach Ufuk Talay, who opens up about his Turkish heritage, early football experiences in Turkey, and an eventful playing career.
Ufuk also shares why he nearly turned down the Wellington Phoenix job, the story behind saying no to Robbie Fowler at North Queensland Fury, and his memories of dodging rocks, earthquakes and flying seats during his time in Turkish football under Graeme Souness and other big names.
Sydney FC Head of Media & PR David Warriner said the new podcast will give supporters a unique look behind the curtain:
“We Are Sydney aims to peel beneath the surface and reveal more of the club’s personalities while lifting the lid on the people and the stories behind Sydney FC.
“It’s less about standard interviews and more about storytelling – meeting key issues and hot topics head-on, in an informal and entertaining way.
“We’ve brought in two of the best podcast presenters in the business, backed up by our own in-house team, and we’re thrilled to launch with an excellent first episode featuring Ufuk.”
We Are Sydney is directed and edited by Sydney FC video producer Josh Patrocinio and developed in collaboration with the Sydney FC Sports and Business Program students – Clare Thomas, Alexia Petrovski, Tyler Bulbeck, Wes Beach and Ivy Morrisey – who co-produce the series.
