Ufuk Talay and Ante Juric have named their squad for this weekend’s fixtures which sees both clubs on the road.
Men’s
Ufuk Talay has been forced to shuffle his pack following a tough week of travel.
His Brazilian superstar Douglas Costa is ruled out following a hamstring injury that he picked up in Japan duirng the AFC Champions League 2 clash against Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Thankfully, it is week to week and while unavailable this weekend, could potentially be involved the week after.
Also in the outs this week is Joe Lolley who came off the pitch early on Sunday with a groin injury. This is also better than initially feared and while missing this weekend will aim to return to action against Sanfrecce or Macarthur the following weekend.
Unfortunately, Corey Hollman’s ankle injury is more long term and he will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.
After serving his one game suspension, Max Burgess comes back into the extended squad for Friday’s clash against Brisbane Roar along with Mitch Glasson, Tiago Quintal & Marin France.

Ante Juric has an almost fully fit squad with one or two late confirmations for this weekend and he will be looking to hit the ground running against the Mariners who proved stern opposition in last season’s Semi Finals.
Grand Final goalscorer Shea Connors returns for another year and is joined in the extended squad by fellow American Jordan Thompson.
Brianna Edwards, Faye Bryson, Millie Farrow and Hana Lowry are all in line to make their debuts in Sky Blue this weekend.
