Sydney FC Defeat Kaya In Manila Heat

Sydney FC has defeated Kaya Iloilo FC 4-1 in a hot and humid game temperature of 34 degrees in Manila last night.

Polish striker Patryk Klimala scored a brace alongside goals from Joe Lolley and Nathan Amanatidis following Kaya’s opener.

The result keeps Sydney FC top of AFC Champions League 2 Group E with six points.

Match Report: Sydney FC has defeated Kaya Iloilo FC 4-1 in the AFC Champions League 2 to stay top of Group E.

New Polish striker Patryk Klimala scored a header and produced a sublime finish from fellow new boy Anas Ouahim’s cross to put the result beyond doubt.

That followed Joe Lolley equalizing Kaya’s opening goal in the first three minutes with a fantastic first time shot.

The match was played in 34 degrees and 81% humidity and the Sky Blues were thankful for three excellent saves from Andrew Redmayne.

Amanatidis completed the rout, finishing well, following a shot from Segecic which rebounded off the post.
