2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Fixtures confirmed

Sydney FC’s Isuzu UTE A-League 2024/25 season draw has thrown up some mouth-watering fixtures.

It’s headlined by a Christmas holidays Big Blue clash with Melbourne Victory, while the return of former Sky Blues skipper Luke Brattan and Macarthur FC shines a light on our first home game.

A season opening away Sydney Derby will get the blood boiling and four family friendly January school holiday matches provides excitement for the kids.

All in all the Sky Blues will take part in a 29 round campaign with three byes, and 13 home and 13 away matches, including new club Auckland FC coached by Sydney FC legend Steve Corica.

Ufuk Talay’s squad will play each of the 12 other A-League clubs twice, with one additional match each against Adelaide United and Western Sydney Wanderers.

Talay’s side head to CommBank Stadium in Round 1 to take on Alen Stajcic’s Western Sydney Wanderers for a hotly contested Sydney Derby on Saturday 19th of October.

After three weeks on the road in the league, including trips to Auckland FC and Brisbane Roar, the Sky Blues will play their first home game welcoming former Sydney FC captain Luke Brattan back to Allianz Stadium on Saturday 9th November with Macarthur FC the visitors for what has been a drama filled fixture in recent years.

Unite Round is scheduled for Saturday the 23rd of November when the Sky Blues take on their cross town rivals Western Sydney Wanderers again, this time at Allianz Stadium. Full season Members have this match included in their Membership packages this season.

The December and January school holidays will be action packed for the Sky Blue family as they play six matches at Allianz Stadium between mid December and the start of February which includes a Big Blue over the festive period, a meeting with the Champions Central Coast Mariners and plenty of family friendly kick off times in the summer holidays.

The third Sydney Derby is scheduled in for Saturday 8th of February and this will be held at Allianz Stadium once again.

Talay’s side will take on former Sydney FC boss and Hall of Famer Steve Corica at the tail end of the season when new boys Auckland FC travel to Allianz Stadium on Saturday 12th of April before the Sky Blues conclude their home campaign against the Newcastle Jets on Sunday 20th April.

Sydney FC will finish their season with two away matches.  The first is against Western United at Ironbark Fields on Sunday 27th April, before rounding out the campaign at AAMI Park against Melbourne City on Saturday 3rd May.

Throughout this league campaign, Sydney FC will be participating in the AFC Asian Champions League 2 with the draw for this competition taking place on Friday 16th of August.

The Liberty A-League draw will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
