Ufuk Talay has confirmed his squad for Sunday’s trip up the M1 to take on Newcastle Jets.
After his red card against Perth Glory, Jake Girdwood-Reich will miss this match and is unlikely to play for the Sky Blues for the remainder of the regular season after he was confirmed in the Olyroos squad for the AFC U23 Asian Cup.
Jordan Courtney-Perkins is also named in that squad and will play his last match on Sunday before jetting off to Qatar for the four week tournament with the final scheduled for the 3rd of May.
In Girdwood-Reich’s abscence, Jack Rodwell and Aaron Gurd are named in the extended squad with Aaron Gurd back available after a leg fracture has kept him sidelined for a number of weeks.
Pat Wood, Joe Lacey and Gus Hoefsloot all remain sidelined through injury.
