Arnold and Mourinho Want To Put On A Show

Sydney FC Head Coach Graham Arnold and Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho were in full agreement on one thing at the pre-game press conference today – they both want to put on a good show on Tuesday night.

The Sky Blues play the English Premier League Champions at ANZ Stadium on Tuesday night in another blockbuster game which is likely to attract a record breaking crowd of over 83,000 people.

Blues boss Mourinho said his team were looking forward to the occasion.

“Tuesday is our last match of the season as a club, so we want to put on a good show and 83,000 people is huge,ā€ he said.

Arnold agreed and said the Sky Blues were more than happy to be hosting their English counterparts.

ā€œTo have Chelsea FC out here a week after they’ve won the Premiership is fantastic,ā€ he said.

ā€œWe are looking forward to the game and hope everyone who watches sees a terrific spectacle.ā€

Sydney FC captain Alex Brosque the squad was were excited to test themselves against the EPL Champions while striker Shane Smeltz described having Chelsea in town as a ā€œprivilegeā€.

Chelsea skipper John Terry said he wasn’t expecting an easy ride against the Sky Blues.

“The standard is going to be very good and very tough in front of a massive crowd,ā€ he said.

However star player Eden Hazard reiterated the Londoners weren’t here for a holiday.

“We want to finish our season with victory, we are here to win,ā€ he said.
