Sydney FC’s first ever home #SydneyDerby at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium (kick off 8pm) has officially sold out, with ticket allocations exhausted ahead of this evening’s clash.

It’s the seventh time the Sky Blues have sold out their home cross-town rivalry fixture, and the second ever Sydney FC game to sell out at the Kogarah venue, after a #BigBlue double header in November 2018.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend said he was looking forward to a fantastic atmosphere at the Sky Blues’ home.

“The Sydney Derby never disappoints and I’m expecting another enthralling show tonight,” he said.

“The encounter is always a game like no other, and I’m looking forward to an amazing atmosphere for the first ever derby in Kogarah.

“The derby is always one of the showpieces of the Hyundai A-League and I’m anticipating another enjoyable exhibition of the passionate support our great sport generates in this country.”

With the game being the first Sydney Derby to be played at the venue, and only 1,200 Wanderers fans expected in a near capacity 18,000 stadium, there will be a sea of Sky Blue to roar on the home side who enter the clash in record form.

Sydney FC currently hold a 13-point lead at the top of the table and are on an unprecedented 13 game winning run at the stadium in the Hyundai A-League (including Finals Series).

However, their only defeat in 15 games this season came at the hands of the Wanderers in Round 3 at BankWest Stadium when the Sky Blues had comfortably the better of the game but were denied by a solitary goal which makes for a feisty second encounter of the season.

Sydney FC’s only home #SydneyDerby of the season is proudly brought to you by McDonald’s and Members and fans are advised to arrive early.
